While Paul was explaining the basics of garageband, I was thinking....tell me something I
don't know. Then Paul started talking about splitting and deleting parts of songs, it turns out that he had read my mind, he was telling me something that I didn't already know! Once he was finished explaining everything about garageband we got to have a go at splitting and deleting parts of Lorde's song, 400 lux. We also added beats to it and changed the volume. I learnt a lot more than I already knew about garageband today! I can't wait for next weeks session!

What is a digital footprint? I was asking myself the same thing not long ago until Katie clued me up on all things digital footprint. A digital footprint is what you leave behind after you have gone online. A digital footprint includes the things you have said or done on a game or website. These are some top tips to stay in the know about what you leave behind online. 1. Never give away any personal information such as: your full name, your address, your phone number or your password. 2. Treat your password like a toothbrush, never share it with anyone. 3. Make your password hard to crack so no-one will hack your account! 4. If you see something inappropriate let an adult know. Those were some top tips about internet safety. I hope you stick to those tips and use the internet wisely. Here is a link to a website called hectors world safety button, where you can download a dolphin button and whenever something inappropriate comes up you just click on the dolphin then get an adult http://hectorsworld.netsafe.org.nz/teachers/hectors-world-safety-button/. Thats all for today so... Blog Ya Later! :)

The first time I watched this video clip it brought a tear to my eye. If you want to hear the lyrics clearly here they are: "Hopeful"

Oh-oh-oh
Check it out
Oh no
Here we go

Please help me God, I feel so alone
I'm just a kid, how can I take it on my own
I've cried too many tears yeah writing this song
Trying to fit in, where do I belong?
I wake up every day, don't want to leave my home
My momma's askin' me why I'm always alone
Too scared to say, too scared to holler
I'm walking to school with sweat around my collar
I'm just a kid, I don't want no stress
My nerves are bad, my life's a mess
The names you call me, they hurt real bad
I want to tell my Mom
She's havin' trouble with my Dad
I feel so trapped there's nowhere to turn
Just goin' to school
Don't wanna fight I wanna learn
So please mister bully
Tell me what I've done
You know I have no Dad
I'm livin' with my Mom

Just be hopeful, yes I am
Hopeful for today
Take this music and use it
Let it take you away
And be hopeful, hopeful
And He'll make a way
I know it ain't easy but that's okay
Just be hopeful

Why do you trip every single thing?
I didn't ask to be born but now I have to pay
I ain't got no money, you take all I have
When I give it to you, I search through My bags
I feel so scared when you shout me down
You kick me, punch me, throw me to the ground
When I ask you, yo, what have I done?
You hit me again, and make fun of my Mom!

I'm hopeful, yes I am
Hopeful for today
Take this music and use it
Let it take you away
And be hopeful, hopeful
And He'll make a way
I know it ain't easy but that's okay
Just be hopeful

What I wear is all I have
We lost our home, I'm livin' from a bag
Yo mr bully, help me please
I'm flesh and blood, accept me please
Hey mr bully, I don't know what to do
My mind, it can't explain what I did to you
Mr bully, take in all my pleas
Every single day you bring me to my knees

Hopeful, yes I am
Hopeful for today
Take this music and use it
Let it take you away
And be hopeful, hopeful
And He'll make a way
I know it ain't easy but that's okay
Just be hopeful.
I told you this song and these kids are amazing!

The purpose of this passion project is to entertain inform and most of all to interest you in coming to have a look at Enrich. My partner Olivia is the weather woman for this project and the camera woman and I am the camera woman some of the time and I am also the host of the show. Thats all from me today and now my famous line...
